Nyikam Pirbu is the scariest witch in the Galo stories. "Nyikam" means an old woman, so Nyikam Pirbu is an old witch. She carried a big basket called an igin, which was made from bamboo and tied with a cane strap. She used to kidnap small children, put them in her igin, and take them to her hut.
